HANDCRAFTED SUSTAINABLE GOODS
Pamela Fortin
Fairfield, Maine, USA

A self-taught screen printer, Pamela Fortin uses her own designs to create unique screen-printed home goods. She has always been involved in some form of art since her first art lesson in oil painting at the age of seven. A few years into motherhood, she found joy in pen and ink illustration! She eventually chose to sell her work after gentle nudging from family and friends. After a few years of selling art prints, she wanted to recreate her art on useful and reusable home goods. So, she grew her handmade business from her craft table to a basement studio in her home!
Pamela now offers flour sack towels, cotton napkins, produce bags, and more on backyardfern.com! Her products are useful, reusable and make beautiful gifts. All Pamela Fortin work is hand printed by Pamela herself, making each product an original!
Pamela has lived in Maine her whole life and still lives and creates in the same town she grew up in. She is married to her high school sweetheart and has two adult children, an over-sized lab and a tiny chihuahua. Her likes outside of printing are gardening, party planning and home improvement projects!
