RETURNS AND REFUNDS POLICY

 

Your happiness is extremely important to us - and, so is the environment!

As a sustainability-focused company, Backyard Fern will not accept ANY physical returns,

due to the environmental costs of shipping.

(All Backyard Fern orders are sent with carbon neutral shipping and eco-friendly packaging,

but there is no way for us to guarantee returns would follow these same standards,

and for that reason we do not offer any returns.)

If you are not satisfied with your order, contact hello@backyardfern.com within 14 days of your order’s delivery

and we will work with you to try to resolve any issues.

Please be sure to review the refund restrictions listed below.

Please include your name, order number, and any photos that may be helpful in assessing your claim.

(NOTE: After 14 days have passed since your package was delivered, Backyard Fern does not guarantee any assistance with your order and your order will no longer be eligible for a refund, so be sure to contact us within those terms!)

 

REFUND RESTRICTIONS

Refunds will not be issued for the following reasons:

 

  • Unique markings 

Every product is handcrafted and may look slightly different from the online listing.

  • Delayed arrival

Backyard Fern is not responsible for shipping delays.

Once your package has been shipped, shipping times are out of our control.

(If you experienced a significant delay with your order's shipment, please reach out to hello@backyardfern.com within 14 days of when your order was scheduled to arrive.)

  • Buyer’s remorse

Backyard Fern does not issue refunds because the buyer has financial, or other, regrets.

  • Product(s) arrived damaged

Backyard Fern ensures that every order leaves our facilities thoughtfully packaged to ensure safe arrival.

Backyard Fern is not responsible for goods that are damaged during transit.

If your order was damaged during transit, you can file a damaged goods claim with the postal carrier.

  • Theft

Backyard Fern is not responsible for any missing packages or package theft.

Please contact your local authorities immediately if you believe you have been a victim of theft.

You can also file a loss claim with the postal carrier.
